The Cub Pack is the second section of the Scout Group following on from Beavers. Cub Scouts are young people aged between 8 and 10 ½. Thursday Cubs are running a waiting list for those wishing to join
In progressing through Cub Scouting each Cub Scout will be encouraged to make choices and learn to work as part of a small team. In Cubs the team is called a “Six”. Older Cubs are called a “Sixer” and “Seconder”, they lead the Team.
For Cubs, excitement and adventure are key. Their programme offers a huge variety of activities: make their Promise; help others; play games; go on outings and visits; go camping and learn about the outdoors; look after their surroundings; gain badges; go hiking; and create things.
